丹尼斯‧狄德羅 (1713-1784) 是法國思想家及作家，為歐洲啟蒙時期 (Age of Enligtenment) 的重要思想家。他因出版《百科全書》(Encyclopédie) 並擔任其總編輯而聞名，他說《百科全書》的目的是要「改變人們的思考方式」(to change the way people think.)。
