威廉‧麥克切斯尼‧馬丁 (1906-1998) 是美國第 9 任也是任職時間最長的聯準會主席,與 5 位美國總統共事過 (杜魯門、艾森豪、甘迺迪、詹森、尼克森)。他曾說,他的工作是「在盛宴進行時,拿走酒罈」,為升息政策護航。
