brilliantly (adv.) 出色地,極好地;brilliant (adj.)。例:a brilliant idea (一個絕妙的主意)。disguise (v.) 假扮,隱藏。例:He disguised himself as a doctor and sneaked in the hospital. (他喬裝為醫生潛入醫院。) insoluble (adj.) (似乎) 無解的。例:insoluble conflict in the Middle East (中東看似無解的紛爭);soluble (adj.) 有解的。
約翰‧加德納 (1912-2002) 曾任美國健康教育與福利部長,也是卡內基教學促進基金會的總裁、兩個重要的全國性組織共同事業(Common Cause)和獨立機構(Independent Sector)的創建者,他在 1964 年榮獲「總統自由勳章」。
