motivation (n.) 動機。例：Peter is a bright student, but he lacks motivation. (彼德是位聰明的學生，但是他缺乏學習動機。) inspire (v.) 激發，激起。例：The coach is able to inspire the team. (這個教練能夠激發球隊。)

李‧艾柯卡 (1924- ) 是美國克萊斯勒汽車 (Chrysler) 的前執行長兼董事，後來成為主席，在 1980 年代帶領即將倒閉的克萊斯勒汽車轉虧為盈而聞名，是著名的商界能手，著有 Where Have All the Leaders Gone? (領導人都到哪裡去了?) 一書。
