我們應該視為機會

we have to put down the roots of democracy
我們必須植下民主根基
this is the responsibility of people of our generation
這是我們這一代人的責任
I have often said to people in Burma that they should not feel that they are unfortunate to have been born in such turbulent times
我常對緬甸人說 他們不應覺得生在如此動盪時代是很不幸的
we should look upon it as an opportunity
我們應該視為機會

緬甸反對黨領袖翁山蘇姬（Aung San Suu Kyi）上周過69歲生日，期待緬甸走向民主。
