我今天已許多身分來到這裡
I come here today in several capacities
不只是持續改善不成文的障礙
not only as someone who kept pushing that glass ceiling up
身為克羅埃西亞第一位女性外交部長
being the first female Croatian Foreign Minister
然後是首位北約（北大西洋公約組織）女性助理秘書長
then the first NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) Assistant Secretary-General female ever
我來這裡不只是
I don't come here only
身為克羅埃西亞首位女性總統
as the President of Croatia, the first female one
我來不只是
I don't come only
性別平等的倡導者
as an advocate for gender equality
曾經指導
as someone who has mentored
曾經實地工作
who has worked in the field
特別是在衝突區
especially in the areas of conflict
我來也是以經歷戰爭的身分
I also come as someone who has lived through a war
衝突的本身
a conflict herself
也經常面對各種形式的性別歧視
and who has often faced various forms of gender discrimination
但自己從未抱怨
but never complained about it personally
但是這其中的每一擊都是新的石頭
however, every hit was always a new stone
阻礙我的決心
in my determination
要堅持並且繼續為性別平等奮鬥
to persevere and to continue fighting for gender equality
不只是在我的國家
not just in my country
也是在全世界
but across the world as well

克羅埃西亞總統季塔洛維奇（Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic），前天在聯合國婦女地位委員會（Commission on the Status of Women）第59次會議的開幕儀式，呼籲各方消弭性別歧視。季塔洛維奇是該國首位女性總統。今天也是國際婦女節。
